Vladimir Mashkov's directorial debut and one of Yevgeny Mironov's first leading stage roles. The show is full of creative energy, warmth, humor and spunk. A small Siberian village where boredom rules the day... And one boring summer day the local loafer, Kolya (Yevgeny Mironov), breaks the big news: on the spur of the moment, he blurts out that he's going AWAY! Far, far away! To visit a friend! The village is seized by a flurry of activity: everyone wants to throw Kolya a party and see him off to the ends of the earth. And Kolya has his hour of triumph...
