The series is set in the decades following WWII and tells the story of five young women who served as snipers in the Russian Army and participated in the taking of Berlin. Now the war is over, but peace offers new challenges – finding love, happiness, a place they belong, and not losing a battle-tested friendship in the process. Yevgeny Mironov makes a brief appearance in the first episode.
