Captain of special-ops unit "Piranha" Kirill Mazur and his female colleague are sent on assignment in the Siberian taiga to liquidate an underwater secret-weapons lab. Captured, they find that a lethal weapon has been seized by gangsters led by a self-proclaimed "taiga boss" Prokhor (Yevgeny Mironov), a half-insane coke-snorting millionaire whose leisure time is spent hunting humans. Mazur wasn't expecting to be trading in his gun for a handmade knife or to be saving himself instead of saving the world. But then, the gangsters also had no clue that their hunting safari would prove no less dangerous for them than for their live targets. A witty takeoff on Hollywood action flicks based on the cult adventure novel by Aleksandr Bushkov.

The film's TV version was aired in France on April 9, 2009.
