Based on Vladimir Bogomolov's novel Moment of Truth about the work of Russian intelligence in liberated territory during WWII. An elusive group of Nazi agents is operating in the liberated republic of Belarus, regularly sending coded messages to the enemy. Their capture becomes the primary objective of military counterintelligence, and the key role in the operation is to be played by Captain Alyokhin (Yevgeny Mironov) and his team.
