The Russian actor Yevgeny Mironov, a co-founder of the Artist Charity Fund, has lent his support to disabled children who spend their New Year at the Albreht Federal Center for Prosthetic Surgery in St. Petersburg.

Many leading Russian companies responded to the appeal to send in money donations and toys. The Ginza Fitness Club and Greenhouse Conditions (Teplichnye Usloviya) restaurant offered their clients to send a customized postcard to the children, while the moble provider Beeline, the luxury gastronomy retail network Globe Gourmet, and Bread House, northwest Russia's leading baker, are giving presents to the little patients.

The children who are currently undergoing treatment at the Albreht Center for Prosthetic Surgery are often disabled, some have not got limbs, others have hearing and speaking disabilities. Being physically impaired does not diminish their love for life, and all of them, aged between 3 and 18, have a keen interest in either computers, the circus or acting.

St. Petersburg's citizens and visitors can leave their messages for the children during a visit to the Greenhouse Conditions restaurant (25, Griboyedov Canal Embankment) between December 19, 2011 and January 8, 2012. Furthermore, 10% of all receipts will go towards the Artist Fund's program I Want to Walk, opened especially for the patients at the Albreht Center for Prosthetic Surgery.
